You could say South Australian Arts world was the champion of as we called ourselves "Alternative Arts", this was a John Bannon and his Dept's. initiative, John wrote the play, I wrote the Grant Application, it all worked. Yes we did all this on the Unemployment Benefit, Quality Flagons and a lot of community belief. Now, 2017, could we pull this off, when most of us can hardly pay our rent, while going to job placement interviews weekly? How dare they, (in the review) pun on my smooth rough name in terms of the performance. I like Tim LLoyd anyhow, and Bruce McKendry who reviewed it some months later in Th.Aust. Well we are only 39 years older, can we do it again. Please let me do it again...I've struggled into suburbia!
