POLICE recruits at NSW's Goulburn training academy who failed a crucial course on police powers had their papers re-marked so they could pass the subject.
Premier Morris Iemma attended a graduation ceremony at the Goulburn college yesterday when 316 probationary constables were welcomed into the force.
The Weekend Australian also understands that an 11pm curfew, introduced last month after a series of drunken episodes in Goulburn, has caused concern among students who see themselves as no different from any other university students who pay for their own education.
